Spectra Physics 100 UV Detector

In case you do not recognise this detector, it is the Linear 200, badged in Spectra Physics colours. For many years this was the most sensitive UV detector on the market, and still compares favourably with the best available even now. The lamp and cell are mounted externally, so can be accessed by removing a small cover on the left side of the instrument, making it very easy to service. We keep many spare parts in stock and know these detectors very well.

It is not the cheapest detector available, but is still available brand new, at a cost of £4795!

You'll recognise the similarity with the model above. This one is own-labelled by Fisher. This is a newer model than the unit above, but essentially the same spec.

Kontron 735

A variable wavelength UV Detector from Kontron with manual adjustment. This is a low-cost UV detector which is not very sensitive!  However it makes a good UV monitor

Perkin Elmer LC90J

This detector is UV only, but both sensitive and very easy to use! It has been in use in our lab and behaved faultlessly!   It is fitted with a Deuterium lamp, and equilibrates really fast so you can be up and running very quickly
