Kontron Model 420 Analytical Pump |
This is a very reliable pump giving a smooth flow and which makes very little noise. It is in good order with new pistons, check valves and seals. These pumps come with a solvent try on the top, which is handy for storing the eluent bottle and any samples etc. Control by Clarity is possible, so using two pumps together a binary gradient is possible. Jasco PU980 Intelligent Isocratic Pump |
This is one pf the most compact pumps on the market and quite sought after. It has been tested and is in good working order. The case is quite clean but does have some marks. We used the pump in our lab for several months and it has worked perfectly. Price: £1295.99 + VAT |

Kontron 414 |
This is an old style single piston pump. It accelerates the motor through the refill stroke to give reasonably smooth flow. The pump works fine, and spare seals etc are still available. You may need to use a service company to replace the seals though, because they need a special tool to fit them. I recommned this pump for flushing columns etc, rather than as a serious HPLC pump. However it will do this very well, and for very low cost. Price: £295.00 + VAT |

Perkin Elmer PE250 |
These pumps are fairly large but work very well. This is an isocratic model, although some are binary gradient. This pump has been used by use for several months and seems happy and working fine. Price: £495.00 + VAT |
